Speakers

Amanda Daines
Director of Research & Development/Nutrition Services, Mom’s Meals NourishCare

Amanda is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian who completed her dietetics degree and internship at Iowa State University. Additionally, she has a degree in Biology from Coe College and has completed coursework in culinary arts at Des Moines Area Community College. Amanda’s experience includes work as a staff relief Clinical Dietitian as well as a Food & Nutrition Supervisor. Prior to joining Mom’s Meals NourishCare, she was also responsible for completing nutrition assessments on pre-renal transplant candidates and had ongoing involvement with the clinical nutrition team to develop standards of care. Amanda joined Mom’s Meals NourishCare in 2012 as a Corporate Dietitian and now co-leads the Research & Development team.

Nathan Jensen
Vice President, Business Development, Mom’s Meals NourishCare

Nathan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson College. He has been with Mom’s Meals NourishCare for over 12 years. Nathan’s experience working through the complexities of state and federal regulations, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, and developing strong Healthcare partnerships has enabled us to solve nutritional related challenges for some of the most vulnerable populations. The scope of his responsibilities has provided him a deep understanding of the multifaceted operations of providing nutrition to patients, the elderly and those with disabilities nationwide.
