Speakers

SUSAN ARMBRUSTER, an operations consultant filling a lead operations role at Physicians Health Plan, is a highly experienced health care executive with more than 30 years in health care operations and extensive operational knowledge of government programs. She was senior vice president of claims operations at Universal American Corp. from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of operations at Amerigroup Corp., now a subsidiary of Anthem, Inc. Ms. Armbruster has had numerous consulting engagements with an emphasis on system installations/migrations.

EUGENE SAYAN is the founder, chairman and CEO of Softheon, Inc. He is responsible for leading the company’s vision and strategic direction to address health insurers, TPAs, and small and large group organizations’ goal of addressing ACA-mandate challenges, implementing single and multi-carrier private exchanges, and integrating with the federal and state-based Marketplaces — while mitigating the risk and high cost of implementation, and ongoing operation through the use of Softheon Cloud. Prior to founding Softheon, Mr. Sayan successfully led the big-data and process management initiatives for Fortune 1000 companies, after his tenure at IBM. Softheon launched its cloud-based private exchange platform in 2013 and works with state and federally run public exchanges, covering all 50 states.
