June 13 Webinar to Discuss the Overlapping Roles of Insurance Exchange Navigators, Assisters and Brokers

States expect to enroll thousands of people each day into their new health insurance exchanges during the first-ever open-enrollment period this fall. In an effort to mitigate the widespread customer confusion that is anticipated, the Department of Health and Human Services has created “navigators” and “assisters,” who, along with existing agents and brokers, will help facilitate enrollment in the new marketplaces. How will these entities be certified? Who is responsible for training them? How will they be paid?
