From Inside Health Insurance Exchanges - Proposed premium rates from carriers intending to participate in Oregon’s insurance exchange were made public May 9. And while the rates haven’t been approved, at least one carrier is seeking a do-over. Industry observers tell HEX that allowing side-by-side rate comparisons for similar products will force carriers to submit more competitive bids.
