From Drug Benefit News - The three publicly traded PBMs last week reported solid financial results for the quarter ending March 31, 2013, and hinted at a promising 2014 selling season, with more activity expected in the employer space than in managed care and new opportunities stemming from health care reform. Express Scripts Holding Co. on April 29 reported first-quarter net income of $374 million or 45 cents per diluted share, compared with $267.8 million or 55 cents per share reported in the first quarter of 2012.
