ICORE’s Medical Pharmacy & Oncology Trend Report is the sole source for important benchmarking and trending statistics for the cost drivers of specialty drugs on the medical benefit including drugs that treat cancer, auto immune and neurological conditions. Join us for this complimentary webinar and hear Michael Waterbury, President of ICORE, discuss the report's significant findings.
For the 2011 Medical Pharmacy & Oncology Trend Report, ICORE surveyed 60 medical, pharmacy and clinical directors, representing health plans that provide medical and pharmacy benefits for 153 million lives, and evaluated paid claim files for health plans’ medical benefit injectables. This edition also provides a comparison between data from 2011 and 2010, the first year this report was issued.
Nearly all health care payors agree: injectable drugs are a significant cost driver, and with an expanding oncology pipeline, that isn’t likely to change soon. As a result, payors are implementing new strategies to manage these costs, and ICORE’s 2011 Medical Pharmacy & Oncology Trend Report provides the only source for trends and benchmarking statistics for injectables paid under the medical benefit.
