NAIC Subgroup Offers 13 Options For Cutting MLRs’ Impact on Agents

A host of options designed to reduce the adverse effect of medical loss ratios (MLRs) on sales agents and brokers is expected to be presented to a key committee of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) May 27. The 13 options are in a report, which doesn’t make any recommendations, in keeping with the request of NAIC’s Health Insurance and Managed Care (B) Committee.
