CalPERS Drops Medco Amid Scandal as Plot Thickens

In a scenario worthy of California noir, the California Public Retirees System (CalPERS), the largest U.S. public pension fund, dropped a multimillion dollar contract with Medco Health Solutions, Inc. amid lawsuits and investigations over alleged bribery and influence peddling.
