Jill oversees AIS’s health business newsletters and webinars, and manages the health editorial staff. She joined AIS in 1999, and brings unique skills and energy to the company, along with an intelligent perspective on the forces reshaping the health care industry. She holds a graduate degree in health finance and management, and was formerly a consultant with Arthur Andersen, where she worked with managed care plans, hospitals and medical groups on the financial issues impacting their operations.
Susan began compiling databases on health care organizations in the 1980s and has had the opportunity to study many health care sectors. She joined AIS in 1997 to lead AIS’s Health Data Division, which publishes AIS’s Directory of Health Plans, annual Factbooks and databases, including AIS’s Rx Benefit Data and Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database.
Patrick joined AIS in 2012, bringing 20 years of journalistic experience at Dow Jones, Reuters and other outlets. His background also includes work as the executive editor at Avalere Health and the American Health Care Association. Patrick covers the full spectrum of business, financial and regulatory news of health insurers for Health Plan Week.
Steve's journalism career includes more than a decade of health business reporting experience, including 10 years as the managing editor of Health Plan Week and Inside Consumer-Directed Care. His deep knowledge of health care management and contacts throughout government and industry make Inside Health Insurance Exchanges and The AIS Report on Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans* “must" reading for health care executives. Steve joined AIS in 2002.

Francie is managing editor of AIS's looseleaf services, including A Guide to Complying with Stark Physician Self-Referral Rules. She also contributes to Report on Patient Privacy. A lawyer by training, Francie joined AIS in 2000.
Jim has more than 35 years of experience in business journalism, and has been instrumental in developing and launching several publications for AIS. He has managed Medicare Advantage News for the last several years. Jim joined AIS in 2001 after a 10-year career as president and publisher of Business Information Services, Inc., which published six managed care newsletters along with ancillary products. His background also includes managing corporate publications for Johnson & Johnson.
Angela has an extensive background of editing, reporting and writing for trade and consumer publications. Before joining AIS in 2005, she wrote and edited articles on health care and other issues impacting employee benefits directors. In addition to managing and writing for AIS's pharma publications, Angela also is the managing editor of AIS’s Web and email news content.
Erin compiles AIS’s annual renewable Factbooks and other special reports, and supervises the research team on the annual AIS’s Directory of Health Plans survey. Erin also supervises data collection, reporting and other content development for AIS’s online databases, including AIS’s Rx Benefit Data and Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database. Erin joined AIS in 2006.
Nina has been writing AIS's Medicare compliance newsletter since 1992 and has a reputation for being one of the most knowledgeable journalists and incisive writers in the field. With excellent contacts at the IG's office and at CMS, and strong relationships among industry experts and compliance officers, every week Nina's Report on Medicare Compliance has inside news you won't read anywhere else.
Theresa is well-versed in the ethical and compliance issues facing researchers and institutions, having worked for an academic medical center affiliated with a major midwestern university and having written hundreds of articles based on research studies. A veteran health care journalist and writer, Theresa has been based in Washington, D.C., since 1989.
Lauren has been covering health business issues, including drug benefits and specialty pharmacy, for more than a decade. She served as editor of Drug Benefit News from 2004 to 2005, and returned to AIS in 2011.
Lauren has been covering health, business and politics for seven years. She also contributes to Health Plan Week, Medicare Advantage News and The AIS Report on Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans.
