Last summer, the National Institutes of Health requested comments on its planned Genetic Testing Registry, which it launched late last month. An online database, GTR would contain information submitted voluntarily by manufacturers and researchers on genetic tests in an effort to offer a one-stop shop on the thousands of tests available.
